ABOUT US!
Who We Are
MEDICAL & COMMUNITY CHAPLAINCY
Our Chaplaincy Program is designed to afford ordinary people the opportunity to be trained as spiritual caregivers in their communities and to bring spiritual care to within reach of each and every individual. We ‘remove’ the walls around our churches and take responsibility of the well-being of our entire community.
We take hands with government structures; become their eyes, ears, mouth-pieces and the hands they serve with, but with a non-political agenda.
A well organised Chaplaincy program can make a difference in our society, communities and nation. We need to train, equip, place and mobilise our people and stem this tide of destruction against this beautiful nation called South Africa.

How it started!

In 2018, Chaplain Meisi Nong and Dr Mpho Ratshikana came together and sought out to address a very important challenge which they both identified, which is a lack of access to spiritual care in the medical field and in communities.
The idea was that instead of people having to go to churches to receive spiritual care, spiritual care can be brought to them, regardless of their religious affiliations.
The aim is to equip existing religious leaders, professionals in all fields (especially the medical sector) as well members of the community with the tools to provide spiritual care to those around them with the hopes to reduce social ills and to alleviate the burden of illnesses/ diseases to diagnosed individuals.
Since the organization was registered, thousands of chaplains have been trained in and equipped across the 9 provinces of South Africa with some of them having been employed formally as spiritual caregivers in various police departments and hospitals.
